Inaugural Population and Global Health Case Competition begins Friday, Jan. 31
The student-led inaugural Population and Global Health Case Competition begins Friday, Jan 31. All are invited to attend to hear President John Langell's keynote address and student case introduction from 4 - 5 p.m. in Watanakunakorn Auditorium.
The Physicians for Human Rights chapter at NEOMED is leading this initiative in collaboration with the American Academy of Family Physicians - Family Medicine Interest Group, American Medical Association - Ohio State Medical Association Medical Students Section and the NEOMED Global Health Interest Group.
Undergraduate, graduate and professional students will compete on 5-6 person teams to address a critical global health care challenge in a competitive and collaborative environment. After the cases are introduced, students will have less than 24 hours to present their comprehensive solution to a panel of faculty and community judges. The winners will have a chance to represent NEOMED at the Emory Morningside Global Health Case Competition or Physicians for Human Rights National Student Conference.
