Inclement Weather Notice: Learning, Teaching, Working Remotely on Thursday, Feb. 3

Dear NEOMED Community:

Due to anticipated inclement weather occurring this evening and continuing through Thursday, we will adjust our normal operating procedures to learning, teaching and working remotely on Thursday, Feb. 3. Please review the following information as it may relate to you.

Working

Those designated by their supervisors as performing essential functions in Public Safety, Campus Operations and the Comparative Medicine Unit (CMU) have to report to campus.

All other employees should refrain from traveling to campus.

Depending upon their circumstances, those whose work can be done from homeregardless of their current agreed upon work-from-home status, will be expected to conduct their duties remotely.

Employees who have questions regarding their status should contact human resources at hroffice@neomed.edu.

Teaching and learning

Colleges will make their own determinations regarding remote instruction.

Conditions regarding Friday

By noon on Thursday, Feb. 3., we will make a determination regarding our campus status for Friday, Feb. 4.  An announcement will follow via our Rave alert system shortly thereafter.

We appreciate your understanding that your safety comes first. Although we strive to maintain our ongoing operations, we must do so with minimal staff on campus during these times.

Please be safe and stay warm.
