Inspirational posters in the Quiet Study Area are moving; which is your favorite?

All hail the power of the poster.

They have saved forests (“Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires”), inspired citizens to a higher calling (“We Can Do It” with Rosie the Riveter) and encouraged investment in education (“A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste”).

On our campus, the posters in the Quiet Study Area of the library strive to uplift, motivate and yes, make you smile. New posters are selected annually by members of the Student Wellness Committee.

With the renovation of the library’s quiet area underway, the pithy posters of profundity are on the move. They’ll be rehomed to the Giant Eagle Commons, where the most popular ones will enjoy a more prominent perch.

How will we know which are most popular? You can help. Take a minute to vote for your favorite. We’ll share the results soon.
