Interprofessional research article selected as 'must read'
Last October, College of Medicine faculty Rachel Bracken, Ph.D., Michael Appleman, M.A.Ed., and Austin Fredrickson, M.D., and College of Pharmacy faculty Liz Fredrickson, Pharm.D., co-published an article, “Generational situatedness: Challenging generational stereotypes in health professions education” in the journal Medical Teacher.
The article has recently been selected from among more than 300 health professions education articles as a featured “must read” from the Med Ed Must Reads Team from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. The selection is based on several criteria, including originality and methodological rigor. Each month, a review team identifies up to four published articles as must reads, saying the articles are essential reading for those wanting to keep up with the best new ideas and scholarship in health professions education.
At top, the research team had the opportunity last September to give an oral presentation of their research at the 2022 Family Medical Education Consortium's annual meeting.
