Introducing the Bench to Bedside app
The NEOvations Bench to Bedside program has long been a platform for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing medical innovation. Building on this mission, the newly launched NEOvations Bench to Bedside App represents the next step in creating a more connected, accessible, and dynamic experience for all involved.
The concept for the app originated from Dr. Fayez Safadi, who envisioned a centralized space where participants, mentors, judges and attendees could easily interact, share ideas and build a stronger sense of community. His goal was to streamline communication and provide a unified platform that supports innovation from idea development to final presentation.
The app serves as a comprehensive hub for the NEOvations Bench to Bedside experience. Users can connect directly with one another through built-in messaging features, explore past NEOvations Bench to Bedside events, and access a wide range of program resources. Whether preparing for competition day or reflecting on previous innovations, the app provides a convenient and organized way to stay engaged.
In addition, users can create an account to view teams participating in the current year’s NEOvations Bench to Bedside competition, offering greater visibility into the diverse and impactful projects being developed. By bringing all of these elements together, the app functions as a true “one-stop shop” for everything related to NEOvations Bench to Bedside.
The development of the NEOvations Bench to Bedside App began with Stephen Becker, who built the initial framework and front-end design, establishing the foundation and overall structure of the platform. The project was then advanced by Arnav Singh, who expanded the app’s functionality and brought the full vision to life. He was supported by Shahabeddin Yazdanpanah and Mitchell Bailey, whose collaborative efforts helped shape the platform into a functional and user-friendly tool for the entire NEOvations Bench to Bedside community.
