Jason Kolb, M.D., shares his story in Akron Beacon Journal article
Jason Kolb, M.D., associate professor of clinical emergency medicine, was skiing with some friends in Colorado in 2023, when an accident on the slopes left him paralyzed below the waist.
Dr. Kolb shared his story in a recent article in the Akron Beacon Journal, published ahead of the launch of his new book, Down the Mountain.
The book, coauthored by Tricia Heyer, shares the story of his accident, and how his faith helped him through his recovery.
“We have hope in the midst of suffering. On the other side of pain, there’s purpose,” he said in the interview, explaining the message of the book.
