Join the College of Medicine for a clinical teaching faculty session on Oct. 16

Join the College of Medicine via Zoom on Monday, Oct. 16 from 4:45 – 5:45 p.m. for a faculty development session on supporting an effective learning climate, communication and feedback in clinical teaching.

Cynthia Ledford, M.D., senior associate dean of medical education, will present a one-hour Zoom session titled “Stanford Faculty Development Program for Clinical Teaching – A Whirlwind Tour.”

Session learning objectives:

  • Identify the components of an effective learning climate.
  • Recall teaching behaviors that support communication of goals, evaluation and feedback.
