The NEOMED Strategy Office invites you to join us for the Jan. 31 University Update!

Following Dr. Langell’s remarks, our faculty, staff and students will share their observations and stories about early successes in driving NEOMED’s mission and creating transformational leaders.  

Exceptional Experience 

College of Medicine student Nupur Goel will share her experience leading the inaugural TEDxNEOMED event.  

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 

Sebastián Díaz, Ph.D., J.D., associate dean for quality initiatives, and Iris Mirelez, M.Ed., assistant director of student diversity, will speak about a documentary featuring our URM students.  

Leadership 

Moses Oyewumi, Ph.D., chair and associate professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, will discuss a proposal for translational research recently funded by the strategic initiative funding process.  

People 

Ashley King, M.Ed., coordinator; Brian Butler, M.B.A., assistant director of student services; and Sandra Emerick, Ed.D., senior executive director, Academic Affairs and Student Services, will share how Lean Six Sigma has improved the student experience.
