The Journal of Medical Sciences (JMS) at NEOMED was created to foster the research and ideas of University students, faculty members, consortium hospital trainees, and affiliates, as well as to provide them with the tools and platform to publish their works in a student-led medical journal.
The first edition of the Journal will be available on the JMS website in the near future. In the meantime, submissions for publication in the second edition are being accepted. The submission deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022.
Any student, faculty member or affiliate of NEOMED is encouraged to submit their work to the JMS at NEOMED.
Submissions will undergo a peer review process, with authors receiving comments and feedback from both faculty and student reviewers. Articles suitable for submission to the journal include, but are not limited to, any original scholarly work such as:
- original clinical or basic science research,
- literature reviews,
- letters to the editor,
- case reports,
- articles highlighting new programs, patents, etc.,
- commentaries/opinion pieces,
- abstracts and
- other.

Please submit your article along with the signed publishing agreement by the deadline via the online form. If anonymous patient information is included in your article, please contact us for additional required documentation.
