Preparation for reaccreditation is well under way. By the way, do you know what LCME (L-C-M-E) actually stands for? The Liaison Committee on Medical Education is a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting body for M.D. programs in the U.S. and Canada. LCME accreditation is a voluntary, peer-reviewed process of quality assurance that determines whether medical education programs meet established standards.
NEOMED’s goal is to receive a full eight-year reaccreditation in 2019.
