Introducing the @NEOMEDedu Social Media Ambassador Program
It’s no surprise that higher education institutions have embraced social media. Today’s students have grown up communicating and sharing experiences on various digital platforms and are consistently helping to grow the popularity of newer platforms. Our students combine with faculty, staff, alumni, donors and others to form our NEOMED community―the lifeblood of our institution―and we want them to be able to use those platforms to show it. This community knows the University personally and is familiar with our work, activities, accomplishments and traditions, giving them an authenticity that resonates especially well in social media.
What is NEOMED’s Social Media Ambassador Program?
The Social Media Ambassador Program was developed to provide key insights into life at NEOMED and tell real stories of our students and other members of the NEOMED community. The program gives current students the opportunity to take over one (or many) of NEOMED’s social media accounts. Not a student? That’s okay―there are opportunities for others too. For example, alumni can take over NEOMED’s Snapchat account to show current and prospective students what life is like after graduation. Also, anyone can submit a photo that might be featured on NEOMED’s Instagram. As long as you’re involved in the NEOMED community, we want you to participate!
