The Northeast Ohio Regional Library Depository will host an Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
We invite you to come check out this amazing facility that holds over 1.5 million items and 16 miles of shelves!
The Northeast Ohio Regional Library Depository is a high-density library storage facility located on the NEOMED campus which:
- Houses and cares for moderately used library collections of five local public university libraries.
- Provides access to the stored resources in support of Ohio’s higher education efforts and research goals.
- Provides expertise in patron service.
- Plays a pivotal role in Ohio’s new initiatives for collective sharing and management of state depository resources.
This depository is a cooperative venture serving five northeastern university libraries: The University of Akron, Cleveland State University, Kent State University, NEOMED and Youngstown State University.
The Depository is located at the back of the NEOMED campus. Additional parking is located to the north of the building.
