The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association will host a Lunar New Year celebration from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., today, Jan. 23, in the atrium outside Watanakunakorn Auditorium.
The event includes food, goodie bags and crafts.
More than 1.5 billion people celebrate Lunar New Year each year with traditions and activities to welcome a new year with wishes for luck and prosperity. This year is recognized as the Year of the Rabbit, except in Vietnam, which welcomes the Year of the Cat.
