MEDCAMP returns to NEOMED July 10–12, giving students a hands-on health sciences experience

MEDCAMP 2025 will take place Thursday, July 10, through Saturday, July 12, on our campus. This immersive, three-day program is designed for undergraduate students in their first, second or third year who are exploring careers in the health sciences.

Hosted by NEOMED's Area Health Education Center, MEDCAMP offers hands-on biomedical science workshops, clinical problem-solving sessions and an introduction to the fields of clinical medicine. Participants work side by side with physicians, NEOMED faculty, researchers and medical students as they learn how to approach patient care, investigate symptoms, and apply critical thinking to diagnose complex medical cases.

Throughout the program, students engage in modern lab techniques and build their skills in evidence-based inquiry using a simulated patient case. On the final day—Saturday, July 12—participants present their case findings during Grand Rounds, a culminating event attended by family, peers and members of the NEOMED community.
