You won’t find a lot of plants or tchotchkes in Bob Kropff’s office. The new senior digital marketing strategist in the Office of Marketing and Communications is a minimalist that way. But he has big tasks on his to-do list. Among other things, he will work with the 60+ colleagues designated as editors across campus to strengthen the website and with his co-workers in MarCom to assemble The Pulse and post web stories every weekday.
A resident of Green, he joined NEOMED in September from The University of Akron, where he managed the website, internal communication, social and video projects. “One of the most appealing aspects of my move here was the opportunity to join an organization with such a great reputation,” he says. “NEOMED has a vibrant and welcoming culture, and that doesn’t happen by accident. Now it’s my job to make sure that the website, The Pulse and other areas reflect what you all have so carefully built.”
Away from work, he runs, bikes, hikes and cooks. He’s played tennis all his life. One of his proudest achievements is teaching his wife how to play; she's so good now that she can beat him.
