Meet the Master Teachers Guild

Back in the day – we’re going WAY back, hundreds of years ago – the idea of a guild started when craftsmen and merchants formed associations based on their common interests or work. The idea of pursuing goals and professional standards thrives today with the Master Teacher Guild, an academy at NEOMED that is dedicated to excellence in teaching.

Currently, some 90 Master Teacher Guild members across the NEOMED consortium use their collective talents to enhance the educational programs throughout the University, its affiliated hospitals and health departments and other community-based teaching sites. The Guild operates out of the Office of Faculty Relations and Professional Development. Applications are available online.
