Mental health advocate to present Frese Lecture on May 6
NEOMED Department of Psychiatry Coordinating Centers of Excellence and Peg’s Foundation will welcome Brandon Staglin from One Mind as the 2025 Drs. Fred and Penny Frese Lecture speaker.
Staglin applies his extensive leadership, advocacy and personal schizophrenia recovery experience to promote mental health innovation and community engagement as the co-founder and chief advocacy and engagement officer of One Mind.
The lecture will be on Tuesday, May 6, from noon to 1 p.m. in Watanakunakorn Auditorium and on livestream.

The Drs. Fred and Penny Frese Lecture Series honors the late Fred Frese, Ph.D., and Penny Frese, Ph.D., by highlighting the experiences of individuals who have successfully navigated schizophrenia and other severe mental illnesses. The series also explores how loved ones can provide support and facilitate recovery in these situations.
