Mentors and Moments

During his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus in the early ’70s, Thomas File, M.D., professor of internal medicine, was inspired to focus on infectious diseases by the first resident he met.

“A lot of what we do has to do with mentorship and the inspiration we’ve had from people with whom we’ve worked,” Dr. File said, in an interview with Ignite magazine.
