Mercy Health and NEOMED student networking and clinical partner reception

NEOMED students joined alumni and clinical faculty at Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital on Monday, Oct. 20, for an evening of conversation, career exploration and community. Jim Kravec, M.D. (’02), chief clinical officer for Mercy Health Lorain and Youngstown, and NEOMED President John Langell welcomed attendees and highlighted the strong partnership between Mercy Health and NEOMED.

Students connected with professionals across medicine and pharmacy, asked about rotations and residencies, and learned about day-to-day life in a range of specialties. Thank you to Mercy Health and to our alumni for sharing your time and experience.

NEOMED leadership also recognized outstanding clinical faculty for their dedication to teaching and mentorship. Congratulations to:

  • Denis Lunne, M.D. (’88)
  • Robert McClusky, M.D.
  • Jennifer McKay, Pharm.D. (’18)
  • Matthew Tricomi, Pharm.D.
  • Amy Hutchinson, M.D. (’88)

This event was sponsored by Mercy Health in partnership with the NEOMED Alumni Association. Events like this help students build real connections and discover next steps in their training. Thank you to everyone who made the evening possible.
