Military matches announced for Class of 2026
While most fourth-year medical students eagerly await the nationwide Match Day on March 20, a select group of future physicians has already received their orders. We are thrilled to celebrate our Class of 2026 military match recipients, who discovered their residency placements through a specialized and rigorous selection process.
These six students will soon transition from medical students to active-duty officers, bringing their expertise to prestigious military healthcare facilities:
- Gilbert Hernandez, Internal Medicine, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (Navy)
- Ellen Davis, Psychiatry, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (Army)
- Erika Ratcliff, OB-GYN, Tripler Army Medical Center (Army)
- Christopher Roscoe, Family Medicine, NMC Camp Lejeune (Navy)
- Alexa Mier, Transitional Year, Naval Medical Center San Diego (Navy)
- Jacob Romero, Preliminary Medicine, San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (Air Force)
As a Collegiate Purple Star institution, NEOMED is deeply committed to supporting our military-connected students. Guiding them through the complexities of the military match is just one way we honor their dedication to our country.
Congratulations to these six students on their incredible achievements and look forward to seeing the impact they will make on the health and readiness of our nation’s armed forces.
