NEOMED Alumni Association to Honor Zouhair Yassine, M.D.
The NEOMED community is invited to attend the 2023 Alumni Awards Dinner in the NEW Center on Friday, May 12. The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and the program starting by 6:45 p.m. Highlighting an impressive list of honorees is the late Zouhair Yassine, M.D., who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously.
Dr. Yassine, a founding faculty member of the Department of Anatomy, taught at NEOMED for more than 20 years and was well known for his pioneering spirit. Other honorees include Frank Papay, M.D. ('84; Distinguished Alumni Award) and James Kravec, M.D. ('02; Distinguished Service Award).
