NEOMED Gamma Phi Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma welcomes 18 new members

On March 28, the NEOMED Gamma Phi Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma, the National Pharmacy Leadership Society, inducted 16 College of Pharmacy students, one faculty member and one honorary member! The purpose of Phi Lambda Sigma is to promote the development of leadership qualities among pharmacy students. Members are selected by peer recognition.

The ceremony featured keynote speaker, Richard Kasmer, Pharm.D., J.D., retired dean, College of Pharmacy, vice president (retired) of Academic Affairs, Professor Emeritus 2023. In addition, Nic Wagner, Pharm.D. (’24), PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident, UH Portage Medical Center, was recognized as Alumnus of the Year.
