Students, community get into Halloween spirit at Trunk-or-Treat
The front of NEOMED’s campus was in full spooky mode as children from throughout the community took part in the annual Trunk-or-Treat festivities on Saturday, October 25.
The event, which was organized by the Office of Student Services, featured NEOMED students in Halloween costumes handing out treats from the trunks of their vehicles, which were decorated for the occasion.
In addition to the trick-or-treat festivities, awards were given for students with the best costumes and trunk decorations. Winners included:
3rd PLACE (20 tickets): Lambda Kappa Sigma (LKS) & the Interprofessional Student Group (IPSG) ($50 each)
2nd PLACE (22 tickets): NEOMED National Community Oncology Dispensing Association (NCODA) & Wilderness Medicine (WildMED) ($150 each)
1st PLACE (24 tickets): Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity ($500)
Trunk-or-Treating has grown in popularity in recent years, providing children with a safe alternative to going door-to-door.
