NEOMED Oral Research Forum showcases student scholarship
On February 25, NEOMED hosted the Student Oral Research Forum, an inaugural event created to give students the opportunity to present their research in an oral format, strengthen their speaking skills, and share their work with the broader academic community.
The forum brought together more than 50 student presenters, along with NEOMED faculty and physicians, for an evening focused on scholarship, collaboration and scientific communication. Students presented peer-reviewed abstracts in breakout rooms before judges and peers.
The evening concluded with recognition of outstanding presentations.
The Ian S. Oppenheim and Marta Williger JMS Research Award was awarded to Dean Spyres (pictured).

The Excellence in Oral Presentation Award recipients were:

The forum was founded by Layth Khawaja, Saad Badat and Mustafa M. Houmsse.
