The Youngstown Blue Coats brought their Blue Bus to the NEOMED campus on March 31 as part of the kickoff to National Public Health Week.
The NEOMED community responded, collecting 132 blankets, 64 hats, 72 pairs of socks, 11 pairs of boots, 11 coats and other essential clothing items, along with $220 in cash donations. The items will be distributed to homeless veterans and other homeless residents.
