NEOMED is among the 91 employers statewide recognized by the Healthy Business Council of Ohio. The University earned Medium Silver honors for healthy worksite practices in 2023.
The council’s Healthy Worksite Recognition program acknowledges Ohio employers who demonstrate a commitment to employee wellness through comprehensive worksite health promotion and wellness programs. Applicants are scored on the extent their wellness programs facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity and ensure a healthy work environment.
The award will be formally presented during a virtual program on Feb. 15.
