NEOMED unveils a refreshed 2030 strategic plan
Northeast Ohio Medical University unveils its updated 2030 Strategic Plan: Creating Transformational Leaders, reaffirming its commitment to top-tier health sciences education and impactful, innovative research.
Endorsed by the NEOMED Board of Trustees at its March 4 meeting, the strategic plan reflects a yearlong collaborative effort that actively engaged the NEOMED community to assess past successes, identify opportunities and define a vision for the future of the University.
The refreshed 2030 Strategic Plan, builds on the successes of NEOMED’s previous strategic plan and highlights the strength of collaboration. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, clinical partners, trustees and the communities we serve all had a hand in developing the new plan.
The plan introduces a streamlined framework built around three core pillars - Academics, Discovery, and Engagement & Operations. It features 12 targeted strategic initiatives supported by value-driven action plans that outline specific steps to achieve NEOMED’s mission to “Create transformational leaders and improve health.”
