I’m pleased to announce that Jeffrey S. Lietzke, J.D., is NEOMED’s new entrepreneur in residence (EIR), serving the NEOMED/Bounce Innovation Hub collaborative. Lietzke is a seasoned healthcare business development leader who will provide advice and guidance to REDIzone companies and faculty entrepreneurs. He will also represent NEOMED’s entrepreneurial endeavors as the innovation landscape in Northeast Ohio grows.
Lietzke received his B.A. in Economics from the College of Wooster, his M.A. in Economics from the University of Akron and his J.D. from Cornell University. He is the founder and managing director of Advancing.Health Venture Partners, Ltd.
Lietzke previously worked for Theken Companies from 2008-2020. Theken Companies leveraged 3D printing and advanced materials to design, manufacture and market precision medical implants and instruments.
He has served as a senior leader with two medical device technology ventures founded at Bounce, both of which advanced through technology and commercialization development phases and successfully exited to industry-leading strategic acquirors. One of those ventures was an orthobiologic technology licensed from a university.
