New executive director of the ORSP

Bianka Hernandez has been named the new executive director of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Hernandez has been the Director of Grants Accounting, and brings a wealth of experience to her new position, including five years at NEOMED. She replaces Rebecca Hayes, who is retiring after eight years of superb leadership.

According to an announcement from Rebecca German, Ph.D., vice president for research, "The entire research community at NEOMED is grateful for Becky’s service. And we look forward to working with Bianka in the future. I also thank the search committee, Natalie Bonfine, chair, Brett Schofield, Marilyn Ward, and Nona Hose for their excellent and hard work to make this happen."
