New OhioLINK Agreement offers APC-free, Open Access Publishing to Authors

OhioLINK has announced an upgrade to its Wiley agreement that offers authors from NEOMED an APC-free open access publishing option.

Publishing articles as open access allows authors barrier-free expanded access to research.

Starting March 1, 2022, and continuing through December 31, 2023, corresponding authors affiliated with OhioLINK institutions can publish open access articles in any of Wiley's 1,400 hybrid journals with no additional article publication charges (APCs) for the author or fees for the institution.

Eligibility is determined by the affiliation of the corresponding author (the primary contact throughout the publishing process).

There is a maximum allotment of articles that are divided evenly across three tiers of OhioLINK institutions.

After the allotted number of articles are reached, a 10% discount off the article publication charge (APC) will be provided to any eligible corresponding authors who choose to publish the article as open access within a Wiley hybrid journal.
