New Title IX regulations

On April 26, 2024, the Department of Education released new Title IX regulations. The new regulations will take effect August 1, 2024.  Our Title IX team has been working hard to ensure our campus community is ready to go by August.

Between now and August 1, the Title IX Office will be sharing useful tips and tools you will need to know about the new regulations. Our goal during this transition is to provide the community with essential information and to educate the campus community.  Please check out the “What’s going on in the world of Title IX” series in the Pulse for weekly updates.

This week's update includes new information on the new Title IX training requirements.  Training for all students, staff and faculty will now be required annually. Students will be required to complete a 60-minute online Title IX training course through our third-party vender, Vector Solutions, starting in July. All faculty and staff will be required to complete a 60-minute online Title IX training course starting in August. Please be on the lookout for emails from Vector Solutions regarding this training.
