NHSC's Students to Service Loan Repayment Program for M4 students
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced the application cycle for their National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Students to Service Loan Repayment Program. Current fourth-year medicine students are eligible to receive up to $120,000 (tax-free) to pay off student loan debt in exchange for a three-year service commitment in a high-need rural, tribal or urban community.

Application deadline: Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET
Approved specialties:
- Family Medicine
- General Internal Medicine
- General Pediatrics
- Geriatrics
- Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Psychiatry (including Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists)
If you are planning to match in a residency program to specialize in one of the above approved specialties and have at least $120,000 in student loan debt, it's highly recommended that you apply for this outstanding opportunity.
HRSA is offering multiple webinars and it's recommended that all interested students attend. Webinars will take place on Sept. 14, Oct. 19 and Nov. 30.

New this year – Maternity Care Provider Supplemental Award
NHSC has added a Maternity Care Target Area (MCTA) Supplemental Award of up to $40,000 for eligible disciplines – physicians specializing in obstetrics/gynecology or family medicine physicians who practice obstetrics on a regular basis as well as certified nurse midwives.
