As a result of the COVID-19 Public Health emergency ending May 11, NIH is updating its post-submission material policy to allow for a one-page update of preliminary data to be submitted for Type 1 R01, R21, or R03 applications, including resubmissions, if the NOFO used allows for the inclusion of preliminary data.
This new policy goes into effect for applications submitted May 25, 2023 and beyond.
