Dear NEOMED Community,
The Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion invites all students, faculty, and staff to nominate a community member for our annual diversity awards. As a result of the Strategic Plan and in an effort to show our appreciation for our faculty and staff, we introduce two new awards to be presented at our annual Valuing Community & Diversity Awards Reception, to be held on Nov. 30, 2021 in Cook Alumni Hall, beginning at 5:00pm. The Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Faculty & Staff awards will be given to one faculty and one staff member per year and the recipient will receive $500 and a plaque. Student awards consist of the Community Builder Award where the recipient will receive $500 and a plaque. It is open to any student at NEOMED. The Walgreen’s Diversity & Inclusion Excellence Award recipient will receive $2,500. It is open to all Pharmacy students.
Deadlines to submit all applications are Nov. 12, 2021. Please see the individual nomination forms for more information and the specific criteria & qualifications for each award.
