Now Open: Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Center

NEOMED Health Care is pleased to announce it officially opened the outpatient primary care opioid use disorder treatment center on May 2, 2022.

It is staffed by our three primary care physicians who are all trained in OUD assessment and treatment and have obtained X-waiver status to prescribe buprenorphine. We will also have an OUD trained behavioral health counselor embedded within the practice who will provide an initial assessment and ongoing individual and group counseling for patients with opioid use disorder.

The center will serve as both an OUD treatment center as well as a training center for students and practitioners that plan to provide OUD treatment in their offices.

NEOMED is committed to reducing substance use disorders including opiate use disorder through programming for students, physicians, and all medical professionals. To learn more visit NEOMED Health Care's site or call 330.325.3202.
