Registration opens for the Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health's 6th Biennial Conference

The Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 6th Biennial Conference: "Reimagining Campus-CommUNITY Partnerships: Breaking Down the Silos" on May 18, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Quest Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Bernice Pescosolido, Distinguished Professor of Sociology at Indiana University and Founding Director of the Indiana Consortium of Mental Health Research, will serve as the keynote speaker, and Kelly Davis, M.S., Associate Vice President of Peer, and Youth Advocacy at Mental Health America, will join us as the afternoon plenary. Cost is $50 and includes beverages, meals and continuing education credits. Register now.

The Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health is a coordinating center of excellence that provides resources and expertise that promote suicide prevention, mental health awareness and stigma reduction activities at Ohio’s institutions of higher education. The focus of this year’s conference acknowledges a sense of belonging and comprehensive approach to mental health and suicide prevention includes an investment from the entire campus-community. Who should attend; campus stakeholders at institutions of higher education, higher education administrators, behavioral health departments, community members, campus security and law enforcement; students, educators, counselors, social workers, and others working within a higher education setting are encouraged to attend.
