The flag display “Our Cultures, Our Community” represents the countries from which our students and their families come. It reminds us that including people from different cultures and experiences in decision making will help enrich community life at NEOMED.
How does the exhibit make you feel? Here’s one response:
Azerbaijan is a small and humble country in Eastern Europe, situated by Caspian Sea.
Understandably, when people ask me "where are you from?" and I mention Azerbaijan, most people have not heard or know where it is. It would be great to make people aware of our country that boasts great music, culture and hospitality from our people.
In addition, the small Azerbaijani population in the U.S. and in NEOMED will feel proud to be a part of the diverse community which is represented by our flag displayed.
