Partial electrical shutdown planned for Saturday, April 26
On Saturday, April 26, the south side of campus, buildings A, B, C, CC (Academic Corridor -AC), Dental Clinic (DC), L, M, P, & R (see attached map) will lose all electrical power (both normal & emergency power) from 7 a.m. until no later than noon for a final electrical tie-in for the new Dental Clinic. Buildings D & E will lose emergency power only, for the same time frame.
This will affect all equipment plugged into red receptacles. Researchers with questions please contact Campus Operations. It is the intention to have all electrical power restored by 10 a.m. but noon would be the latest we will allow power to be off.
Please understand that no emergency lighting will be on in these buildings during this outage.
For students planning on studying in any of these buildings on the morning of Saturday, April 26, you’ll want to find an alternative location.
