Pathways to Pharmacy Summer Camp a Hit!

The College of Pharmacy hosted its annual Pathways to Pharmacy program last week.

Thirty-two high school students from local area high schools participated in the four-night, five-day summer camp.

Students participated in a hands-on brain anatomy lab, compounded lip balms, learned about veterinary pharmacy at the Akron Zoo, were introduced to many different career paths in pharmacy and so much more!

The week ended with a graduation ceremony where the campers introduced their families and friends to some of the unique areas of pharmacy such as poison control, mental health pharmacy and pediatric pharmacy.
