Patricia DePompei, president of UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, is next VITALS speaker
Patricia M. DePompei, RN, M.S.N., president, University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s Hospital, joins VITALS | Visionary Health Leadership in Action at noon Thursday, Nov. 7, in Watanakunakorn Auditorium and via Zoom.

VITALS is NEOMED’s health leadership series in collaboration with University Hospitals. Each month, we give health leaders 17 minutes (the average length of a physician visit) to address one of the VITALS topics: Value-based, Innovation, Technology, Advocacy, Leadership or Service. The presentation is followed by a Q&A with WKYC senior health correspondent Monica Robins.
DePompei has held a variety of positions within health care over the past 30 years, including clinical and management positions in pediatric and neonatal intensive care, as well as human resources. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University; her Bachelor of Science in Nursing cum laude from the Medical College of Ohio at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, and completed the Executive Management Series in Health Care at Case Western Reserve University/Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland.
