Petrea Cober, Pharm.D., joins ASHP's 'Career Pearls for Students' Podcast
Petrea Cober, Pharm.D., professor of pharmacy practice, joined the Career Pearls for Students podcast series on March 22. The podcast, hosted by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), features interviews with pharmacists who work in various practice settings to learn more about what a day in the life is like. Dr. Cober shared her insights and advice for students interested in pursuing careers in pediatric pharmacy.
“Every day is different. It comes with its joys and its challenges in the NICU population. Working in a NICU, 99% of these children have never been home. These parents are taking their child home for the first time ever. It’s really rewarding,” she says in the interview.
