Pharmacy professor assumes leadership role of national organization
Petrea Cober, Pharm.D., BCNSP, BCPPS, FASPEN, assumed the role of president of the Pediatric Pharmacy Association at PediatRxCon, the organization’s annual meeting held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in early May.
The organization is the leading pharmacy association promoting safe and effective medication use in children. The mission of PPA is to advance pediatric pharmacy practice, support the health and well-being of children and promote safe and effective medication use in children through collaboration, advocacy, research and education.
In her role as president, Dr. Cober will lead the organization's Board of Directors and set a vision for the coming year.
Dr. Cober is professor of Pharmacy Practice, and director of workforce development in the Office of Student Success of the College of Pharmacy
