Pharmacy scholarship available

Pharmacist Mutual Insurance will again offer a scholarship to students in their third and fourth year of pharmacy school in the 2024-2025 academic year.

To be eligible, students must:

• Be a third- or fourth-year pharmacy student in the 2024-2025 academic year.
• Plan to practice in an independent or small chain community pharmacy, or
• Plan to practice in an underserved geographic or cultural community, preferably in an independent or small chain community pharmacy.

Interested students should submit an electronic application, a transcript, an essay describing their interest in practicing in an independent or small chain community pharmacy, or practicing in an underserved geographic or cultural community. Your essay should describe the steps taken to prepare for your chosen practice setting and your practice goals after graduation. 

To apply, students should complete the scholarship application and submit the required documents. The application window is open until Dec. 1. A total of 20 scholarships will be awarded nationwide, and recipients will be notified in March 2024.
