Pharmacy student featured on ASHP podcast
Second-year pharmacy student Kerstan Glista shared her personal experiences and insights on resilience and well-being in a recent podcast from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Glista joined host LCDR Kali Autrey, Pharm.D., and students from Wyoming School of Pharmacy and Western University of Health Sciences for a discussion on “Student Well-being and Resilience: A Conversation with PharmD Candidates”
The panel of students discussed mental health, work/life/family balance, self-care and support systems to improve overall well-being.
“I feel if you’re not focused on your well-being, you’re not able to perform as your best self,” Glista shared during the podcast. “Managing your well-being is the most important thing we can do.”
She credits access to help, resources and support from her family for helping her through difficult times.
