At the recent Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) national convention, P4 student Mariah Carlton was awarded the Future Pharmacists Future Leaders Scholarship Pharmacy Award. This award, sponsored by the National Pharmaceutical Association Foundation and the Kroger Co., was established in 2007 to reward SNPhA members who excel academically and who are dedicated to promoting community pharmacy. Mariah has been instrumental in reestablishing the NEOMED SNPhA chapter, serving as President during the 2020-2021 academic year. She helped to coordinate numerous meetings, fundraisers, and service activities, and SNPhA was recognized as the NEOMED New Student Organization of the Year this past spring.
