Pharmacy students win Jeopardy Bowl at OSHP annual meeting

NEOMED’s team of pharmacy students took home first place in the annual Jeopardy Bowl competition at the Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP) Annual Meeting and Residency Showcase, held last Saturday.
The event brought together teams from each of Ohio’s seven colleges of pharmacy to compete in a fast-paced, pharmacy-themed trivia contest that tested students’ knowledge of therapeutics, clinical guidelines, and healthcare policy. Representing NEOMED were Lauren Ashton (P4), Kaylee Ray (P4), Cameron Terzian (P4), and Rhea Diaz (P2).
After several competitive rounds, NEOMED emerged victorious, earning top honors among all participating schools. The team credited their success to collaboration, quick thinking, and the strong clinical foundation built through NEOMED’s curriculum and experiential education.
“It was such a fun and rewarding experience to represent NEOMED,” said team member Lauren Ashton. “We were proud to showcase the knowledge and teamwork that our program has helped us develop.”
The Jeopardy Bowl has become a highlight of the OSHP Annual Meeting, fostering friendly competition and camaraderie among pharmacy students across the state. NEOMED’s victory marks another exciting achievement for the College of Pharmacy and its student leaders.
