Policy on intellectual diversity
The University has developed an Intellectual Diversity Policy to remain in compliance with the Advance Ohio Higher Education Act (also known as “Senate Bill 1”). The policy applies to all NEOMED faculty, staff and students.
The policy outlines prohibited activities and reiterates the University’s commitment to free, open and rigorous intellectual inquiry.
Nothing in this policy prohibits faculty or students from classroom instruction, discussion or debate, so long as faculty members allow students to express Intellectual Diversity.
