PopUp Pantry service opportunity on July 28

Faculty, staff and students: Are you interested in assisting with an on-campus service opportunity in collaboration with the Akron-Canton Foodbank?!

If so, please email Dr. Kevin Intihar at kintihar@neomed.edu, who will then forward to you an Outlook calendar invite for Monday, July 28, from 11:45 a.m. -2 p.m.

You can walk or drive to the Library Depository near Loretta Drive behind campus (4041 Bradley Rd.) to locate the Akron-Canton box truck.

As a volunteer, you would package bags of groceries and carry them to community members' cars. Our representative from the Foodbank, Todd, will explain additional instructions upon arrival.

Even if you just help for the first hour, that'd be extremely helpful!

Note: Employees must take paid time off (vacation or your lunch hour) in order to participate in this opportunity unless you are required to attend as part of your work responsibilities.
