Pre-clinical summer experience in diagnostic radiology at University Hospitals

The Department of Radiology at University Hospitals - Cleveland Medical Center invites you to participate in our Pre-Clinical Elective in Diagnostic Radiology. This elective is geared to rising M2 and M3 students and is designed to generate interest in the field of Diagnostic Radiology through early exposure to imaging and procedures. The course is designed to be a fun and educational experience with no additional work outside of the elective hours.

The elective will be offered twice from 4/21/25- 5/2/25 as well as 6/9/25-6/20/25 with a total time commitment of 30 hours over the two weeks.

Students need to be available from about 12-4 pm with two hours each day spent in the reading room interacting with staff and residents and the remainder of the time devoted to conference/level appropriate interactive lectures.

The elective has been extremely well-received by students in the past.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at pauravi.vasavada@uhhospitals.org or to the administrative coordinator of the elective at bridget.millerharper@uhhospitals.org. with any further questions.

Please email radiologyeducation@uhhospitals.org to confirm availability for the dates you are interested in and register for the course.

Cordially,
