Faculty and staff: Get a professional headshot on Jan. 17

You’re invited: whether you are new to NEOMED or just need an updated professional headshot – all faculty and staff are welcome!

Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; located in the Aneal Mohan Kohli Media Production Studio, found on the second floor of the NEW Center.

We host these professional sessions to collect faculty and staff portraits for use on the website and elsewhere.

You are also welcome to use your photo for your own professional profiles, etc. The sessions are designed for employees to stop in during the session timeframe as their schedules allow—no charge or appointment required.

Recommendations for your professional headshot:

• Basic hair and makeup. Style your hair before – a natural style is always good.
• What to wear:

o  Solid colors look great in headshots.

o  If going with a pattern keep it simple - busy multi-color prints, stripes (big or small), neon colors, all white, and all black—are not the best choices for a photo shoot.

o  Jackets and blazers are always a good choice - outfits that fit you the best and make you look sharp.

o  For ties, red, blue, purple and black ties are good colors, and should complement your shirt.

o  Make sure that all clothes are ironed and pressed before the shoot.

o  White coats should be clean, pressed and pockets empty.

o  Simple jewelry works best.
